The Glider project was very informative as well fun. I learned a lot about gliders from attempting to do this project. I learned about all the different components that make up a glider. I learned that the elevator is the "steering wheel" of thew glider, it is in the back of the glider. It rotates to steer the glider. The rudder is the part of the glider that that keeps the glider stable and doesn't let it ride rough, this provides a straight flight. I also learned that it takes hard work and patience to build a glider. When I was constructing my glider I was thinking that it was a piece of cake. But as I started to build, I was starting to realize that it was more difficult and time consuming as I thought. The first original glider was constructed by the Wright brothers in the 1900s. As a whole I enjoyed the glider project, it opened my eyes because I had never tried or even been interested in building a glider. Now I look back on the event and I see that it was an overall good experience.
